MEET THE MEMBERS OF PRAYER!
 |
JOE
Born in Brooklyn, from the time he was a young boy Joe has been hooked
on music. He vividly remembers being glued to the TV set watching The Beatles
on the Ed Sullivan Show and knowing what he wanted to do with his life.
Playing in bands since he was in his early teens, music has always been
his sole occupation. Highlights from Joe's career include singing the National
Anthem at Shea Stadium (NY Mets), Nassau Coliseum (NY Islanders), and Fenway
Park (Boston Red Sox). While playing with Prayer he also played on the same
bill with Aerosmith, The Ramones, and The Dixie Dregs, among other nationally
known artists. His proudest musical moment's was in the early 1990's when
he fulfilled a lifelong dream by playing two nights at Madison Square Garden
in Billy Joel's band for the Walden Woods Benefit Concerts (also on the
bill were Don Henley and Sting).
Joe has the unique talent to sing many diverse styles of music and convey
the particular emotions of each genre. His guitar playing is equally versatile
with influences including Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. |
JENNIFER
Jennifer has been an integral part of Prayer since her introduction into
the band in 2000. She is an accomplished artist and is the lead female vocalist
of the platinum selling nationally acclaimed group, TSO.
Jennifer has toured all over the US and North America, playing to sold
out crowds in Madison Square Garden and other arenas of that caliber. She
has recorded on many record labels including Lava/Atlantic Records, Sanctuary
and Jellybean Recordings. Most recently she was included on TSO's latest
album, which quickly went gold, and is on its way of being certified platinum.
She has made TV and radio appearances across the US and Canada, including
Good Morning America and Regis and Kelly. |

KEITH
Aside from being a master keyboardist, Keith is the key band member in
Prayer.
Keith is the band's orchestrator and musical arranger and provides pitch
perfect harmonies.
Classically trained but with a rock & roll sensibility and attitude
Keith also possesses a unique and versatile singing voice and is featured
on some of the bands' lead vocals as well. Keith has honed his craft with
an experienced background that not many musicians can claim. |
DAWNETTE
Dawnette has been a featured vocalist with Prayer for the past 4 years
and adds a soulful R&B element to our already versatile sound. During
the week Dawnette is an arobic dance instructor at the "Ballys Fitness"
chain on Long Island which helps explain her high energy stage performance,
reminiscent of a youthful Tina Turner. She knows how to keep a crowd moving
and motivated. |

JOEY
Joey is the newest addition to the Prayer Family Tree. He has taken
over the thrown of Drummer/Vocals. Joe has the back-beat and the back-ups
which Prayer has been looking for.
Born and raised in Long Island, Joey has been tapping it out since he
was 3 years old. Ever since he heard 'Bang A Gong' on the radio, he knew
he wanted to make music his life.
He's been in the music scene since 1987. In the late 90's Joey's original
project Garlic released 2 records and supported major acts including Cheap
Trick, Thin Lizzy, Stryper, and did a North American Tour with Europe in
May 2005.
Since 2000 Joey has been involved in many Omni Pop and Tribute bands
including 6MDB, Bad Medicine, Rocket Man & LTZ. Between Prayer dates
look for Joey at your local bar and grill playing Acoustic and singing Solo. |
TEDDY
We are happy to welcome Teddy back into Prayer. Following a stint with
Big Shot Long Island's #1 Billy Joel tribute band, Teddy is back where his
unique talents will be utilized to the fullest.
In addition to his high clear tenor singing voice and fluent, melodic
bass guitar playing Teddy is also adept at drums, keyboards and guitar.
Teddy has recorded and toured with many national acts including Ronnie James
Dio, Great White and the Billy Joel broadway smash "Movin' Out".
